What Pathway meant to me - Mark's* story

“They never give up on people. The program does work and for me personally, I don’t think I’d be here if it wasn’t for Pathway Trust.”
- Mark

Three weeks ago Mark* was released from Prison after spending nearly three years behind bars. He is now in the process of beginning again with a new flat, new job and new relationships, supported by Pathway’s reintegration service. We asked him why he thought donating to Pathway was worthwhile.

“The program does work!” he told us. “Pathway have so much to offer e.g. mentoring, employment, ongoing support, providing a residence, transport, volunteer work, reintegration plans, alcohol and drug programs, cheap doctors, helping get identification, a bank account which can be a problem for some, support through WINZ and with Probation. They never give up on people. The program does work and for me personally, I don’t think I’d be here if it wasn’t for Pathway Trust.”
