It’s official, supporting Pathway is good for your health. Alloyfold (Pathway’s social enterprise) has just launched its first healthcare range which will offer specialised commercial seating to hospitals, medical centres and aged care facilities. This is a new market for Alloyfold but represents a natural fit with its existing church, auditorium and cinema product range.
“Alloyfold’s healthcare seating is unique because of it’s range and flexibility in customisation, making it a strong new competitor in the market,” says Jo Triplow Sales Representative for Alloyfold’s healthcare seating range.
Branching into healthcare is a double win for Alloyfold and Pathway. It offers the opportunity to provide reasonably priced, good quality furniture to places where people are often vulnerable, while also adding another string to Alloyfold’s bow as a business.
Alloyfold expects this new area of growth to bolster revenue in the next financial year, adding to the financial resources available to Pathway Trust.
“We have to be dynamic,” says Gregg Hagen, International Sales Manager for Alloyfold. “In the not for profit sector it’s not enough to rely on trusts and grants funding anymore. Starting and growing social enterprises is a way that not for profits can stand on their own two feet and achieve a level of financial security. We’ve made a good start by getting some chairs into CDHB and I’m looking forward to seeing Alloyfold flourish in this new market.” As 2017 rolls on Alloyfold’s sales and production divisions will continue to innovate and explore new areas of growth for the company.
